Since 1 August 2026, the minimum resources required by France-Visas for a student visa have risen from €615 to €877.50 per month of stay.
What is changing
France-Visas has raised the minimum amount of resources a foreign student must prove. Your irrevocable transfer certificate must guarantee this minimum.
Who is affected
All student visa applications submitted since 1 August 2026. If your application was submitted before that date, the previous amount applies.
