What is the AVI?

Your questions about the AVI

Where are the funds held?
Your funds are held at Société Générale and are only used once you arrive in France, according to your support plan.
What is the minimum amount required by the State?
For visa applications filed since 1 August 2026, France-Visas requires at least €877.50 per month, i.e. €10,530 for 12 months. Service fees come on top of this amount.
Can the consulate verify my certificate?
Yes. Each certificate carries an identifier and a QR code so the consulate or embassy can check its authenticity online, on the “Verify a certificate” page.
How much does your support cost?
