The certificate (AVI)
What is the irrevocable transfer certificate (AVI)?
The AVI, also called a bank guarantee, proves to the consulate that the student has the minimum resources to live in France during their studies. It is an essential part of the student visa application.
What is the minimum amount required by the State?
For visa applications filed since 1 August 2026, France-Visas requires at least €877.50 of resources per month of stay. This amount remains your money; it is separate from our packages.
Where are the funds held?
Your funds are held at Société Générale and are only used once you arrive in France, according to your support plan.
How is the money paid to me in France?
The funds stay blocked until you arrive in France, then they are paid into your account every month.
Which documents do I need to provide?
For your AVI file: your identity details, a copy of your passport, your acceptance letter and the proof of transfer.
Can the consulate verify my certificate?
Yes. Each certificate carries an identifier and a QR code so the consulate or embassy can check its authenticity online, on the “Verify a certificate” page.
Packages and payment
How much do your packages cost?
Our packages: Essential: €801, Security: €850 and Success: €1,020. Each package is paid once. Full details are on the Pricing page.
Are the packages paid only once?
Yes. Each package is a service paid only once, with no subscription or monthly instalments.
Is the AVI amount included in the price?
The certificate amount is not included in the price of the packages. It remains the student's property and is paid back every month in France.
How do I pay?
Payment is secured by bank card. Your office follows your file and collects your payment, whichever method you choose.
Our services
Do you offer the insurance required for the visa?
Yes. We offer travel and repatriation insurance with health cover, as well as home insurance.
Do you provide the housing certificate?
Yes. The housing certificate is included in all our packages. The Success package also includes finding your accommodation.
Will you welcome me when I arrive?
Yes. A member of our student network welcomes you at the airport.

Is Univers France Succès a recognised company?
Univers France Succès is a French company (SAS, SIREN 983 609 264) approved by ORIAS, the single register of insurance, banking and finance intermediaries.
In which countries do you have an office?
We have 6 offices: France, Senegal, Benin, Mauritania, Mali and Morocco. The head office is in Sarcelles, France.
